movie review:Howl's Moving Castle

Hayao miyazaki `s mind blowing masterpiece, took me by storm!
many said his best work was spirited away, a dark and imaginative piece, while some even suggested my neighbor totoro , a children's movie that will guaranty you a ride back to childhood, with its lovely creatures and joyful attmosphere..

however personally , this one , was a bundle of heartwarming imagination, with its, creativity and its romance and its cant help but love characters..

the movie starts out by showing you the quite life of sophi, a shy girl working in a hat shop.

we also hear about this wizard named howl, with his glorious moving castle, he is feared and hated, yet secretly wanted and admired by the females, he is known for his good looks and instability.

sophi, the responsible one , pays little attention to him and his tales.

an incident occurs that exposes sophi to certain complications, I wouldnt like to spoile this magnificent work of art for you, so I shall keep my lips sealed.

a specific, uhem, thing, happens that causes sophi to live in this brilliant castle, and slowly but somewhat vaguely be romanticized by howl.

the ending is exultantly epic! charming and simply joyful..

this movie was one of those movies you always remember, with its gratifying details, and its bewitching characters , I was literally in an absolute state of awe.

miyazaki is one whom you only meet once in your lifetime, and I am so absolutely glad that it was my lifetime.

I would recommend your waisting 90 minuets of your life on this movie I am certainly sure that you have spinet them in much more useless things in the past.

  1. I know how you feel this movie is one of my all-time faves too!!
it is really one of Hayao miyazaki's masterpieces.

his movies have this distinct feel to them, you just cant help but fall in love with his works. even kiddie movies, like My Neighbor Totoro was amazing! And I wasn't even a kid when I first saw it and I just simply loved!
his movies are one of those few exceptions in the world of anime I think. you don't need to be a hardcore anime Otaku to love them, and you don't mind watching it English dubbed. because seriously who wouldn't LOVE Christian Bale's voice <3

sry if this was a bit long, your review just made me all happy and excited. I couldn't help but ramble.
    good job! Keep 'em coming!
